Based in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, our work primarily focuses on renovating and adding to existing structures. Essentially recycling to enhance modern lifestyles while respecting past traditions of construction.

The central focus of this home remodel was to support a relaxed connection with nature for an art trader and her family. The south window wall harmonizes the living spaces changing sunlight with the day and seasons.

Remodeling this original cabin home in a prestigious mountain community was a unique challenge. Charming but dark space ware reimagined-removing the south facing facade and entrance and replacing with glass cathedral wall and accordion doors opening to the views of mountain summit beyond.

RANCH HOUSE
We are very proud to have been awarded Tahoe Quarterly Magazine’s Legacy Home of the Year for this extensive home addition.
In line with the patron’s wishes of an open continuous space for their large family. Structural steel was strategically used as a solution, allowing a repetition of large linear windows and sliding glass doors to frame unique views of surrounding pine trees.
