Recycled barn wood and local granite landscaping complement the surrounding pine and fir trees.  While Inside, a simple white geometry accents a hand-made steel and laminated solid white oak stair and floors.

Limited space is solved with an oversized kitchen island which doubles as a family gathering space and large work surface with appropriate lighting for work.

The grain of the natural white marble is carried across the island, counter tops and splash as a continuous brush stroke.
